Interview
Applied through a recruiter and interviewed with one of their tech leads shortly after. They were technically good and asked very hard and detailed questions for a first round interview but didn't sell their company at all. The company is still a small startup and they are definitely looking for people less bothered with structure or proper engineering practices (no docs and design documents according to them). Would still be interesting to find out what they do and what are their plans for the future as it definitely wasn't clear at the end of the interview.

Pick a Kubernetes components and explain IN DETAIL how is it implemented How is Kubernetes itself implemented IN DETAIL? Transactions in SQL and their atomicity IN DETAIL. How to rotate a list in Java?
One of the most cringe interviews I have ever had, it started with a technical question not even an introduction. I proceeded to ask about the team and the work and they couldn't answer any of my question (what??????) that was a weird interview, and just because I failed to answer one theoretical question that can easily be found on google, they said immediately there's a mismatch and we won't proceed with you, have a good day and the conversation ended hahaha piece of advice: please have a screening first I am not knocking on your door to treat me like I want this so bad, and also, have your staff trained about interviews
Turned up to an interview where I was expecting to have a technical conversation with the creative director and one engineer as per a previous conversation, and when I joined the call I was in a meeting with 5 other engineers I'd never met before. The questions they asked me to answer to show my competence weren't clear and this resulted in me talking about something entirely different to what they were looking for. Did not feel very thoughtful at all.

Was asked to program moves for a chess game in Unity 3d and describe how I would set up the game. However they weren't very clear when asked to define the requirements for the game (2D or 3D? What perspective?)
