Interview
My first-level interview at Great Wolf Lodge was excellent — one of the best I’ve had. The interviewer was warm, professional, and genuinely interested in my experience. Unfortunately, the second-level interview was a completely different experience. The interviewer appeared disengaged, yawning repeatedly and typing without any acknowledgment. The questions felt random and unnecessarily targeted, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere and threw off my confidence. It came across as unprofessional and made me feel like my application wasn’t being taken seriously. I was truly excited about the role, so this was disappointing. I was asked the question, ‘If you were a tree, what would you be?’ and I genuinely don’t understand how this helps evaluate a candidate’s ability to perform in the role. Questions like this feel disconnected from the actual job requirements and can make the interview process seem less structured and less focused on relevant skills
