I applied in early December 2024, and by early April 2025, I still had not completed the interview process. My initial phone interview with the recruiter took place on January 22, 2025, and I was told I would receive an update within one to two weeks. Despite following up multiple times, I didn’t hear back until March 3rd, which was attributed to a corporate conference. In hindsight, that delay should have been a red flag.
I eventually had a virtual interview with the Hiring Manager, on March 11, followed shortly by a second virtual interview with their peer. I was informed the next steps would involve reference checks and a final interview with the VP. However, most of my references were never contacted, and I never received any further communication.
It’s extremely disappointing that the process took several months, only to end without closure. I ultimately withdrew from consideration.
The overall lack of communication and professionalism is concerning—especially for a leadership role within Human Resources. I hope this feedback leads to improvements in the candidate experience going forward.
