I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Green Chimneys (Brewster, NY) in May 2022
Interview
In person with three people from higher management. A lot of questions asked about prior experience relating to the field and future expecations. They definitely wanted someone who would be able to stay long term, ideally over a year.
Met the assistant director of childcare and walked briefly to one of the dorms where I was introduced to the supervisor of that unit. Sat and observed the staff and kids in that dorm for about an hour, then was brought to another building for a formal interview with two of the residential administrators. Process was comfortable and not too intimidating. They asked me some questions about my experience and why I applied for the job, then asked a few more questions about situations that may arise while working there.
