Very long; 1. Recruiter 2. CS Manager via phone call 3. Take Home exercise, to present a product you use 4. Zoom Virtual Onsite with the CS team + presentation of assignment. A good amount of time invested w/ preparation & presentation. Overall the last interview went very well, so I thought. I enjoyed the conversations & there seemed to be good chemistry w/everyone. I sent thank you messages to all 6 people I met with. Got 1 response. Really? It doesn't take that long to acknowledge an email from someone who has invested time into this process- especially coming from a company like Greenhouse-who's product is supposed to be trying to improve the hiring process. The onsite ended w/ a conversation with the recruiter who went through all the company benefits, perks & even confirmed that I was good with the start date of 3/2. She stated she was meeting w/team and that she'd get back to me by end of the week. This was a Tuesday. Of course, when I did not hear back by the start of the next week-I had to assume there would not be an offer. I finally received an email by Wednesday-over a WEEK from the interview day! This goes against everything they say they do with the product/hiring process. Also, why would you go through all the benefits, perks & start date & give the impression that an offer was likely coming? Although everything earlier had gone well the way it ended just left a bad taste & I would never recommend a company that doesn't respect people's time & commitment to their process. I rated difficult-due to time spent for this process.
