I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience with Greenway's interview process. After completing the initial 45 minute assessment sent from a specific recruiter, I received a call from that same recruiter which I missed by a few minutes. I called back right away but got no response. The voicemail itself that was left was unclear and rushed. I had to go back and connect the dots just to figure out who it was and which job the call was regarding. I assumed I passed because why else would a recuriter reach out after the assessment was completed? So after my hard work, I followed up with the recruiter multiple times via phone and email and never received a reply. Then, without any communication or explanation, I was sent the same lengthy assessment again. It seemed like it was sent in error and I didn’t want to take it a second time but since they were not responding to me, I assumed it was my only shot at moving forward so I took it again. In the midst of all of this I was writing then general HR email as well. I recieved not one response from anyone.
There was complete silence until three weeks after me completing the first assessement, a generic rejection email. At no point did I speak to an actual person, and I spent nearly two hours of my time and energy navigating a process that never respected my effort or even acknowledged my existence. I have to speak up as this kind of treatment is incredibly unfair. People are applying for jobs because they need income and stability. To be ignored, misled and asked to jump through hoops with no clarity or communication is not only unprofessional, it’s extremely unkind! It feels like emotional and energetic abuse in a time when people are already stretched thin. Job seekers deserve better.
