I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GroundTruth (Mountain View, CA) in Jul 2016
Interview
The best interview I have ever done:
- The recruiter is very friendly, he gave valuable tips.
- They shared a code exercise, a small project. Very interesting, at the same time it is easy and interesting.
- Next, they invite you to discuss your project, and do a small coding interview (only 2 interviews).
- I really enjoyed doing the code exercised, it was very focused on my role on the company. In addition to that, the interviews were also focused on the position I was applying for.
Regarding the company:
- Strong technology and passionate team. xAd is doing great and their technology seams very strong.
- Managers are open to discussion and are hands-on. During my interview with the manager we had a very deep discussion about technology and product. One can feel that he is very experienced and concerned about the team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given a list of disciplines and their requirement, return whether one can complete this course. Input is a list where each element is a list with the requirement being on the first position and the discipline on the second position:
Exemple: [['math1', 'math2'], ['math1', 'calc'], ['adv. calc', 'calc'] .. ]
Easy questions regarding Linked lists. 3 assessments, aptitude , then coding assessment and then interview and then the final HR interview. HRs are trash here. So arrogant aunties. And managers are the most illiterate persons in the whole world. Dabba you can say.
