I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon
Interview
Contacted by Groupon HR team to schedule a phone interview with a Product Manager for position in Chicago office. The interview went fine with questions on my background and current role. Majority of questions after that came from details about my current role and how I would handle things depending on different scenarios such as increased competition, how to handle working with customers, etc. Overall, interview was fine, but I never heard back from the HR team. After multiple emails, I got a no-reply standard email that I have not been selected for this position for further interviews. I send another not to the HR team after this reply thanking them for the time and feedback if they have any. I was not surprised that even after that I didn't get any reply.
I am glad that I was not chosen for the role as I was not happy with the process.

Question 1
How would you handle working with an unhappy customer
Received offer but rejected because of loss of trust in leadership through the interview process.
Invested 4+ weeks to receive an offer which was for a temporary contract position.
It was obvious that leadership had consciously made the decision to hide this until the very end of the process. Not sure what the intention was here, but it would have been easier for everyone involved to be transparent from the initial recruitment call.
I hope no candidate has to go through this again.
