It was a straight forward yet lengthy process. It started with a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by a short assignment to assess my knowledge in paid search. I didn't hear back until at least 2 weeks later since the manager was on vacation. However, the recruiter wasn't communicative about this until I followed up multiple times. After completing the assignment, I was set up to meet with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was nice and thorough. I had to complete another assessment after the interview. I was notified by the recruiter that I passed the second assessment and was set up for another interviews with five other people. The final round was with the VP. Overall, I had a fair experience meeting with the team members. However, they decided to go with a candidate with more experiences handling 'large scale' paid search campaigns. My issue was that this was not clearly defined. While I believe I demonstrated capabilities to handle 'large scale' campaigns through the two assessments, they decided to move forward with another candidate that they believe have 'more' experience.
