I applied online through my University's career center. About a month or so later, shortly after their application deadline, a recruiter e-mailed me to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was so-so. She just asked me about my work experience and what I was currently doing, why I was interested in grubHub, and explained what the internship would be like as well as more about grubHub. Immediately afterward, she set up a date for me to come to their office and do an in-person interview. This one was much more technical. I was put into a room with two of their developers to do some basic object-oriented programming in Java, making what were essentially truth tables using logic gates. I was slightly intimidated by the prompt and made one-two dumb mistakes out of being nervous, but overall it was just the right level of difficulty. Once I was done, another one of their developers came in for a one-on-one interview, which was more technical. He asked me questions about what classes I was taking in school, Android development, and data structures.
I haven't heard back from them even though they said it would be a few days, so I'm assuming I didn't get an offer, but I'm not too upset as I already had two lined up for me elsewhere.
