Interview
Applied online through their website and received a call from the recruiter to go over my resume and experience. this went well, and they sent me an online coding problem. I wrote a correct solution to the problem they gave, but it could have had a decent improvement on space usage.
After 8 days I emailed the recruiter to see if there was any movement in the interview process. I didn't receive a response so I emailed again 11 days later. It is now 7 days after that email and still no response as to whether or not I am still a candidate for the position. Very unprofessional and disappointing that I still have not received any update from the company.

Question 1
Write a function to reverse all the words in a string separated by spaces. There will be k spaces, and k + 1 words.
Three steps: Behavioral screen with the recruiter, followed by tech screen with an engineer, followed by virtual onsite with leetcode style questions in addition to system design and behavioral interview rounds.

Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter in January 2025, and scheduled a first-round live-coding interview with a tech lead. She was very helpful and supportive and it was probably the least stressful live-coding I've ever done. The interview involved coding functions for distributed architecture.
I was very quickly scheduled for a second and third interview, one a behavioral interview with the person who would be my manager, and a final live-coding interview with another engineer. The behavioral interview covered my experience with different technologies specific for the job and detailed coverage of one of my recent work projects. The final live-coding interview was also very relaxed and covered coding with data structures, specifically a linked list.
I was told the job was mine if the position was approved by the company's new owners, Wonder, after which I read that Wonder fired 25% of Grubhub's staff, and I haven't heard back since. The people I had the opportunity to talk to were magnificent, though.
