Met with HR quickly was very good and got me to see the hiring manager quickly. It was a Friday in the summer and the woman interviewing looked like she had a long night and kept saying thanks for meeting so early but it was not early. It was after 10am. She was not interested in anything I had to say. She kept asking me red flag questions as well like "How would you handle a situation where you are waiting for leadership to approve something but you need to meet the deadline." This is a no win answer because if you say that you approved it without leadership sign off, that is going outside the process but if you say you didn't approve it, then you are not meeting deadlines. I asked about the business and it did not seem like it was doing well. She said it has been on the decline since covid. Some questions about the program I asked her, she did not know and was not sending those communications out. She also made it seem like leadership had a lot of opinions in a bad way. She did not seem interested in talking and seemed annoyed that she had to speak so early. I've learned to never take interviews on a Friday because of this interaction. I reached out to HR and never heard back - completely ghosted. I think I may have gotten an automated message from them.
