The recruiters told me how amazing the company is and how nice and down to earth the hiring manager was. I had an interview scheduled about two days after my credentials were submitted for review, which was my earliest availability. So far, so good. The interviewer was completely uninterested from the moment I arrived. He spent about two minutes talking about the company and vision for the role, then asked me to tell him about myself. When I asked him where he wanted me to start, he said “where ever you want.” That was the interview. I took a day off and drove for over an hour both ways for that. I was also told that I would be interviewing with two people, but no one else was ever introduced into the process. I was back in my car less than a half hour later. He didn’t show me out. Very awkward. Very rude.
