I applied to a position three months ago. I had an initial HR screening interview about a month after I applied. Then I had a second round interview with the hiring manager a few days later, and then a third round group interview with the team a few days from that. After the third round group interview, I didn't hear anything back so I sent a follow-up email with the HR person I originally met. He mentioned that he hadn't had a chance to connect with the team yet. Another week goes by, I follow up with him again, I receive no response. Another week goes by, I send one last follow-up message mentioning that I assume they have hired another candidate and that if there's any chance of me continuing in the process, to please let me know. They responded very quickly after that and scheduled my fourth and final round interview. I sent a thank you email to the entire team after the final interview and never heard anything back. So essentially was ghosted twice even after completing all interview rounds. Definitely a red flag! So much time was lost and lots of hope.
