I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Guggenheim Partners (New York, NY) in Sep 2014
Interview
I knew someone who helped me get the interview. I had an initial phone interview, which was very basic. The entire process was very connections base. They don't really recruit out of the traditional finance schools and analysts/associates who know applicants help them a lot through the process
I applied online. I interviewed at Guggenheim Partners
Interview
Would avoid - had an interviewer with a senior person and he was the rudest interviewer I've encountered (blatantly would raise his voice and would say I was stupid, etc.). Questions were overall easy but he was a very difficult person to deal with
I interviewed at Guggenheim Partners (New York, NY)
Interview
First round screener, excel test, and after they gave a superday. Superday was all behavior with some senior bankers. Overall process took a bit over a month. Does in person interviews.
The interview consisted of technicals with junior bankers, then behaviorals with senior bankers. It was pretty standard for an investment banking interview. It was 1 round of technicals and 2 behavioral interviews.
