Guitar Center Gear Advisor interview questions

The interview seemed very rushed. At first, the prospect of consulting musicians and gear nerds alike sounded like a promising gig, before a week into training I realized that this was a fishing line to get more bodies to dial out and sell for them. It’s a double edged sword of a job where you have to put on your salesman hat dialing out, while also being a corporate punching bag for customers on inbound calls. That was nowhere mentioned in the interview process.

Phone interview, great, quick experience with a friendly recruiter. 2 scenario questions & the rest were about the job and relevant experience. Overall good experience. Haven’t started yet! We’ll leave another review when I know more.
