I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Guy Carpenter (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2018
Interview
The interview was conducted through via telephone as I was out of country. I know the other interviews were in person at their Toronto office. It was with my direct supervisor and the questions related mostly to why I was interested in the position, what skills/experience I had to offer and how my academics related to the job. I wasn't asked anything too tricky.

Question 1
What is the number one thing you'd like to take out of your internship at GC?
The interview process was fine; a phone screen, individual zoom chat with the hiring manager, then zoom chats with others from the team.
What made this experience frustrating was the lack of communication and follow-up from Guy Carpenter. They never replied with an answer after the final interview, even with my two emails asking for follow-up. Extremely rude and unprofessional in my opinion; I can take a no, I just need to know.

I applied online. I interviewed at Guy Carpenter (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
The process was very laid back and the interviewers were very kind. The questions they asked were typical questions a corporation would ask. Overall it was a smooth and easy process using HireVue.
I applied online. I interviewed at Guy Carpenter (Edina, MN) in Dec 2020
Interview
One round of Hireview Interviews then one round of 30 minute Zoom interviews with multiple people within the company. I got to ask questions about the position and the industry as well.
