Salary standards and expectations and availability
I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Santiago) in Apr 2019
Interview
I sent my resume, got an invite to complete an on-line interview that was fully automated. After that one of their recruiters called me but instead of calling to set an interview or simply verify a few things from my resume, he immediately started to throw interview questions, to make it worse, since I was not expecting an interview, I was at my very open office not wanting anyone in my current job to know what I was up to so the audio was not ideal with me walking around the cafeteria and unable to find a quiet area from where I could talk freely. I got the feeling that not being able to clearly and openly talk, and focus on his questions rather than in not being heard by my current colleagues made me sound uninterested in the job when it was anything but the opposite. Anyhow, towards the end he asked if I could visit them the following day and I replied that any day the following week I would be happy to, but the next day I was short on time, I guess that sealed my faith, he was unwilling to re-schedule the interview and I did not get that job.
