Applied online, got a call from a recruiter a couple of days later. She told me I'd hear back, and the following week received a phone call from the soon-to-be Store Manager (he was relocating) of the location. We had a great conversation and he sounded like he really enjoyed me, even saying "I have a good feeling about you." He ended up getting me in contact with the District HR Manager who I did an in-person interview a few days later. Again, the interview was casual, and she said keywords that made it sound like I had the job, since travelling elsewhere for training may be required, she mentioned how I could even bring my spouse with me. Admittedly at this point I thought it was a near-guarantee to get the position. She explained to me I will hear something the end of the following week, which I did, through an unsatisfying automated email declining me. After three seemingly successful interviews, all I asked that I was called up and given feedback as to what went right and what I could improve in the future for myself, but none of that was given. Not sure if this is how the company operates or if it's my specific area but it was definitely unprofessional and a letdown. Really can't recommend bother applying if they can waste someone's time so much for nothing.
