I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at H&R Block (Columbus, OH) in Feb 2014
Interview
The interview process was terrible. I had received a phone call from a manager inviting me to a group interview which I accepted. While on the phone I made sure that with me only being 17, I was eligible for the position and they assured me I was. After attending the interview for three hours I was told that I was not old enough to work for them. The entire process seemed as if management did not know what they were doing. I do not recommend being a seasonal worker.

It was very easy over the phone interview. Once I applied I reviewed a call in less than 48 hours. She walked me through everything and set me up for class which is 6 wks long.
HR and manager together. Tell about yourself, your hobby. Ask your tax experience, how you feel to do tax by yourself. How flexible in tax season. And which location you prefer to work, do you mind to work other locations.
