I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare (Hyderābād) in May 2026
Interview
I was contacted by an external recruiting agency for this role - didn't expect an interview for a Senior role since I had 2 years of full-time experience but I was delighted when I was given the opportunity.
I wasted 1 day attending the offline interview, buying good formals the night before, getting printouts of my resume (as it's mandatory) for this interview that was a complete waste of my time and money.
Two men interviewed me. Once I revealed that I have 2 years of full-time experience, they treated me like a child who doesn't know anything. Mind you, they asked me 2 questions for the sake of asking - pretty standard, easy ones that I answered correctly. None of them even bothered to look at me while I was answering them, both acted as if this interview was a waste of their time and were working on their laptops while I'm trying to have a conversation / answer their questions.
At the end, they just said "We are looking for people with 6+ years of experience but you only have 2.". That's it. I was pretty frustrated with the level of bias there was against the YOE on paper - we live in 2026, anyone could do what a 10+YOE could do and even better as long as they are humble enough to do proper reasearch and be a good learner. Which I am, which they failed to see.
Anyways, I'm happy to not have been given the opportunity. Shows how backward their mindset really is, stuck in the past - which is NOT what I'm looking for in my next company.
