I was contacted by an agency for a Recruiter role with this company. It was a very fast conversation, the recruiter didn't even ask me about my skills. He said he would send my resume along to the hiring manager. The next morning a representative from HCL called me and again the conversation was very fast, and he was very short with me. He asked me to come in for a 1/2 hour interview in Redmond the next day. I told him one day's notice was not enough and I had appointments but I was available the following Monday. He was extremely rude to me and accused me that I knew interviews were Friday and I should have cleared my calendar. At that point I was done. He told me it was only a 1/2 hour interview, which is really strange to me for a direct hire interview. Candidates need time to prepare and need more than one day's notice; and if they're not available, don't attack them. Unbelievably rude experience.
