The interview process itself is straight forward and they are responsive to get the interviews scheduled and done quickly. The issue for me arose when I declined their offer. I received a verbal confirmation from HCL that I would be extended an offer and two days later I received a verbal confirmation offer from another company. The other company got me the official offer within a couple of days so I reached out to HCL to see if we can expedite their offer so I can make an informed decision. I informed them at this time I had another offer and thus the urgency to get theirs to me so I'm able to choose. I rejected their offer as the other one was better for me and I got a contrite email from HCL about why I was rushing the offer process and that I was required to inform them at the initial stage.
1. No I don't have to inform you of other opportunities I'm pursuing.
2. I didn't have the other offer when I spoke with you about yours.
3. I did inform you when I initially asked if we could expedite it. The other offer is the reason I need it expedited.
If getting this kind of response from an offer rejection is any indication of how this company operates then I'm glad I declined the offer.
