Interview
I went through a consultancy for the interview in the month of July. After reaching there, i found out that it was not a scheduled one but a drive was going on for different skillsets.
I went through 2 rounds of interview- technical & managerial. Technical round was tough and the interviewer was very rude. Nevertheless i cleared both the rounds and i was asked to fill in an employment form by HR. She said she will give me call back within couple of days for HR discussion.
Its been almost 4 months now, i haven't received any call from HR. However, i receive a call from HCL every 15 days asking if i have received the offer letter. This is utter nuisence. Giving hopes to people when you dont have anything to offer.
During these 3 4 months, i tried to take the follow up from HR but they do not listen to what i say and what i am inquiring about. Once they would say, project is on hold, next time they would ask to send resume for a different opening.
I had a very good opinion about HCL until i was given false hopes for a job offer.
i still recieve e-mails from HCL for the interview for the same profile i had appeared for an interview. Seems like these people are just keeping drives and wasting peoples time in order to advertise them.
Very Disappointed.

Dsa and Core conceptThe interview focused on Data Structures and Algorithms, Java core concepts including OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, SQL basics, project discussion, problem-solving approach, and communication skills with coding questions.
The interview process was simple and beginner friendly. Most of the questions were basic Java concepts, discussion about projects done in college, and a simple coding question. The interviewers were friendly and focused more on understanding problem-solving approach and communication skills rather than asking very difficult technical questions.

One of the main things they asked was about OOPs concepts in Java, such as inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, and encapsulation. They also asked to explain these concepts with simple real-time examples. Apart from that, there were questions about college projects and one basic coding problem.
