HEICO interview questions

About a month ago, I had an interview with Heico that lasted 3-4 hours. The experience included a tour of the building and a detailed explanation of the offer letter process, which raised my hopes as I felt the interview went extremely well. However, there were some red flags I should have noted. Before the interview, I was asked about a one-month gap in my employment history. I had to share a screenshot of emails with the recruiter to explain that the company I was previously engaged with had a short hiring freeze, which delayed the process. Shortly after the interview, the recruiter called to express their interest in me but questioned my choice of wording on my resume. Specifically, they asked about the term “well-deserved,” which was recommended by another recruiter. After this, I was ghosted. Despite reaching out to the recruiter, I received no response. In hindsight, I believe I dodged a bullet. If a company is this particular about such details, it might indicate that nothing would ever be satisfactory. It is unfortunate, as I initially thought they were very nice people. Fortunately, I received a much better offer from another company two weeks later and they didn't even ask about my wording choice - it was rather irrelevant. I would like to express my gratitude for the experience. However, I am very disappointed in the way you chose to go about this. I hope you understand that job seekers put a lot of effort in too, and a simple email response is a courteous gesture, even if you have moved on with another candidate.
