SALARY - asked what I would accept. They wanted to offer someone with a PhD and years of experience 30k/yr (with the "opportunity" to work overtime to earn more). I know this makes my post less confidential but I don't care, it's worth it to share the warning.

Interview
I was asked to edit sentences that contained grammatical errors and provide reasoning for the mistakes I corrected. A few days later I was asked to speak on the phone for an interview. The woman I spoke to talked very fast about the position. After explaining what the position was all about, she asked I complete a 3-hour writing assessment (which I did). During the interview she told me that if I did not hear back within 7-8 business days I was welcome to email her for an update. I emailed her on the seventh business day and she told me that it would actually take ten business days. On the tenth business day I got an email saying that I wouldn't be advanced to the next step in the interview process.

Interview
I received an invitation to interview with the company-a boutique business immigration law firm-after applying through a university recruiter. For the interview, I met with the Human Resources personnel and performed a sample work assignment, which took approximately two hours. I then received an offer of employment soon after.
