Overall, just a bit awkward and uncomfortable. I'm fairly talkative and my interaction seemed really strained and I did not receive much return from either interviewer. Didn't seem interested in me which is fine. Just was a little awkward for people there to engage and interact with students.
The interview process at HKS was organized and friendly. The team emphasized collaboration, design thinking, and cultural fit. Recruiters communicated clearly, and everyone I met seemed genuinely passionate about architecture and the firm’s mission. The focus was less on technical software tests and more on understanding my design approach and how I handle feedback.
