I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at HackerOne in Sep 2024
Interview
The interview process was exceptionally smooth. The recruiter was very responsive, and I never once felt in the dark about the next steps. The interviewers were genuinely interested in getting to know my background and work ethic.

Question 1
I participated in a challenge interview where I gave a 5-minute presentation based on a mock-up situation.
6 30-45 minute stages including the screening call, but didn't feel like a 6 stage process. Each interview had a genuine 15 minute slot to chat with the team, so the process was effectively 5 30 minute interviews. You get to ask questions and that was what sold the company for me as everyone was very genuine.
The recruiting team were also fantastic, making sure I was fully prepped for each interview.

The kindest group of people I've ever interviewed with.
There is your recruiter screen, a peer interview, a manager interview as well as a technical session.
The recruiter and interviewers set expectations for each conversation, & it was highly relational.
