HackerOne was extremely communicative and prompt during the entire interview process. I received a response from the company 6 days after I submitted my application, Within a month of the initial application I received an offer (during this time period, HackerOne had a company-wide offsite and they communicated the process would be paused for 1 week). I conducted 6 interviews during this time: - A screen call with the recruiter - A culture and knowledge interview with the hiring manager - Two culture interviews with technical staff - A Live Coding exercise with a senior member of engineering - A Take-home project and presentation for a member of leadership While this sounds like a lot of conversations, each person I communicated with was very warm and welcoming, and each interview was very pleasureable. Both the Coding Exercises and the Take-home project were at an appropriate challenge level for an engineer of my seniority.
