First, I had an intro phone call with a recruiter to discuss what we were both looking for. Learning more about HackerOne's mission and commitment to offensive security solutions is truly inspiring, and it's clear that this is a place where cybersecurity professionals can thrive. Then I had 1 on 1 calls with the Director of Business Applications and IT, the Senior Director of Security, a Senior IT Engineer, and a Senior Talent Strategy Partner. Each interview varied with different scenario-based questions and security architecture/design questions. There was no technical assessment, unlike other places I've interviewed at for similar roles, but I found it refreshing to be able to talk more about my experiences and how I can apply the knowledge gained in this role instead of worrying about a technical assessment that might not relate to the role.
