It was a 9am interview and the interviewer was late. She also seemed completely unprepared; she forgot to print and bring my resume, which I had on hand. I was interviewed by a second person who looked at my resume and then went on to ask me about my field of study in university (English), even though I had graduated 15+ years ago and had over a dozen years of work experience in the industry. He seemed unprepared as well.
I left the interview feeling like I had wasted my time.
Job seekers spend a lot time prepping for job applications and interviews. Companies and interviewers should likewise do the same. The respect and professionalism should work both ways.
