I would have described the interview process as positive except for what happened at the end. I made it to final interviews, but after the final day of interviews with multiple interviewers, the company that advertises 'when you care enough to send the very best' , didn't follow their own motto and care enough to tell me that I didn't get the job even after I sent an email to the HR contact after 2 weeks to check in. Based on how the job status showed online, it appears as though the job was cancelled but I'm not totally sure. The problem with this is that I have been a customer of Hallmark for many years and they need to keep in mind that I'm not only a job candidate but a retail customer that they may want to keep --- Them not being considerate enough to even send out a form email after I made it all the way to the end of the interview process doesn't really make me want to jump in my car and go buy more Hallmark cards. American Greetings is looking pretty good right now.
Hopefully this isn't overall company practice for job recruits so good luck to everyone else.
