I interviewed at Hallmark (Oceanside, CA) in Sep 2020
Interview
Two interviews and both were over the phone. The first interview was around 30 minutes and the second was about an hour. In the first phone interview, the recruiter asks simple questions like what is your availability and how many hours do you want to work; basically the same questions you are prompted for on the online application. The second interview is longer and had questions prompted towards why you want to work there, what experience you have in retail, and where do you see yourself in 5 years
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first was basic questions like availability. The second interview had questions like "why do you want to work here, what's your past job experience, where do you see yourself in 5 years" etc
Very easy. I had a scheduled phone appointment. I was asked very basic situational questions. I was offered a job at the end of the call. It was a good job.
A 15-minute phone interview is usually a quick, casual chat to see if you're a good fit before moving forward. It starts with a short intro and maybe a little small talk, then they’ll ask you to talk about your background and experience. After that, they might throw in a couple questions about your skills or how you’ve handled things at work. They’ll also tell you a bit about the job and the company. Near the end, you’ll get a chance to ask a question or two, and they’ll let you know what comes next. It’s more of a vibe check than a deep dive, so no need to stress too much.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hallmark (Garner, NC) in Sep 2023
Interview
It was a conversational phone interview manner. The interviewer was kind and informational. They were easy to talk to and it was short and to the point. They asked me when I would be available to start work and if I could do the job duties.
