I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Hamilton Group (Reno, NV) in May 2026
Interview
6 week process from first application to final contact. I had a referral from a former college professor. Led to a 1 hour long technical interview over-the-phone with 2 senior engineers. I was asked to come in for an in-person interview at the company; lasted about 4 hours, speaking with small groups of engineers from different departments for about 30 minutes each. I also spoke with the CTO and head of HR. The questions were 60% technical, 30% personal background, and 10% company culture. I was ultimately turned down after 3 weeks of no updates from the company, no specific cause or reason was given. The HR department that handles the scheduling and correspondence has mixed performance. Only 50% of my emails would receive a response (I wouldnt email them more than once a week). This led to issues such as interviewers being no-show to one of my phone interviews, and being kept in the dark on the status of your application/interview. That said, when the HR department did respond, they were largely helpful and friendly.

Question 1
A driving circuit is delivering a 50 MHz clock signal to a load. EMC testing is showing the following emissions: 25 dBm at 50 MHz, 10 dBm at 100 MHz, and 20 dBm at 150 MHz. Why is this happening, and how would you fix this?
