Disorganized and Misleading Process
The interview process started out promising but quickly became frustrating and unprofessional. I was told upfront that it would be a fast process (three steps over two weeks, including a business case). In reality, it dragged on for over five weeks, with long periods of silence and poor communication. I was repeatedly asked to move quickly through each round, only to be ghosted for days or even weeks afterward.
The number of steps kept increasing - from the original three to six - and after more than two weeks without contact, I was suddenly asked to spend an entire day in the office without any offer or even clear next steps. When I raised concerns, I was told I was the "preferred candidate" and that salary wouldn't be an issue. The HR representative even proactively shared a salary range - only to later tell me that my expectations (which matched the range he mentioned) were too high.
To make matters worse, the job was reposted during the process, which made me question whether they were genuinely hiring or simply collecting business case ideas. One of the interviewers had also not reviewed my CV properly and made incorrect assumptions about my background, which reflected a lack of preparation.
Overall, what started as an engaging and exciting opportunity turned into a disorganized and disappointing experience. I hope the company improves its hiring transparency and respects candidates' time and effort more in the future.
