I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Happen Bank (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied one month prior to receiving an email for potential interview days. In the email they tell you to research the company giving you links to research. They really emphasize that they want you to know about the company before interviewing.
The whole interview process took about 1 hour where I met with 3 different people. In my case it was a recruiter and then two Member Support Supervisors.
During my time with the recruiter she gave a overview of what Lending Club was about. Asking you if you knew about the company then going to explain what your job title would consist of.
The next two supervisors then went on to ask more technical questions about my experience with customer service and talking to clients over the phone.
Overall they first wanted to ask if you were qualified and the secondly they asked personality questions.
Culture I believe is really important in this company so I wouldn't overlook the personality questions. The question of what do you like to do, was asked by both supervisors.
Finally as a last tip, make sure to always have questions for all three of your interviewers. I guess I missed out on asking questions to the recruiter and that didn't help my cause.

Interview
The interview process was timely and organized. I interviewed with two different people. The only thing I did not like was the interview questions. I don't feel like they should be so vague and annoying.

Question 1
They asked me about a goal that I had had and what helped me achieve it, or if I didn't achieve it, what kept me from achieving it.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Happen Bank (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2018
Interview
Recruiter called for a phone screen, she was late to the appointment. Rushed through the phone screen and didn't seem to care what I had to say. Followed up with email a week later, still no reply; not even a rejection email. No courtesy, I got the message.

Interview
I first applied in September. The recruiter called me wanting to do a quick phone interview to know my background. It went well. She mentioned that the member support role was filled at the moment and no longer looking for candidates but she mentioned that there is a project coordinator role that matches my resume and told me to email her if I am interested.
A day later I sent out an email reaching out my interest on the role. 2 days passed no reply, I sent out another email thinking she missed it. Again, No reply.
Now recently she called me in Dec telling me that the member support role was open again and wanted me to come in for an interview. So I took that chance.
When I got to Lending Club. I had to sign in with the receptionist. Waited for the recruiter to come get me and bring me to the room. She gave me advice for the interview and told me to be myself.
She left and a few min later the first Member Support lead came in to interview me. She was super nice, bubbly and energetic. I spent about 30 min interviewer with her. There were a few laughs here and there. I thought I did well.
She left and the 2nd Member Support lead came in. With her, my interview felt like 5 minutes. From what I remember she only asked me 3-4 questions. She was quick and went to the point. She seemed nice but not as energetic or happy as the first one. She just went straight to the point. I felt I could've done better. After the interview was the waiting game.
A week later I reached out to the recruiter asking what the status of my application is at. If they are considering me or going with other candidates. Again no reply, then a few days later I emailed. No reply. Its been alomost 3 weeks and I tried one final time. thinking maybe theyre on PTO since it was the holidays and AGAIN. No reply.
During the interview they were saying how they're all about growing, getting better and using feedback to improve. I read in the past reviews that one person also didnt get an email back.
Here is some feedback. When a candidate is applying, at least let them know that they didn't qualify for the position. Also, the recruiter can work on her communication skills. She seems to never respond. this also happened to other folks that I know that applied.
Seems like a nice place to work at but oh well... I would've been ok with me not getting the job. More upset that they didn't get back to me and the lack of communication.
