I applied online. I interviewed at HarbourVest Partners, LLC (Boston, MA)
Interview
The process was standard from applying to hear from a recruiter. I got invited for an onsite interview on their 43rd floor office. Nice view.
I honestly like the hiring manager. It was the others I didn't care for. I could tell when they run out of questions to ask. It shows interviewers don't always know what they are doing. It could have been a conversation to talk shop.
After almost 2 weeks, I got a rejection letter mailed to my home. It was nice of them to do that because no one does that anymore. I would have accepted the rejection via email just the same. They don't even have an applicant tracking system for candidates to apply online.

It was long and grueling - two sessions and six interviewers from every different level with no real direction - just kind of scattershot in terms of their questions. So be prepared for a long day and to be able to charm your way through.
