behavioral based questions mostly but there were also some critical thinking questions that really made you have to think pretty critically. Friendly people made the interview process easy and relatively stress free

Interview
Lengthy and tedious. Met with multiple people on the team and was kept waiting for up to an hour at one point while they finished with another candidate who they made clear was my main competition. I did eight different interviews and still didn't get the job.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at HarbourVest Partners, LLC (Boston, MA) in Dec 2016
Interview
The interview process was fairly simple. I was referred via a recruiter and had the interview set up in about a week. I first met with an HR rep, and then two assistants that worked closely with the team this role would be supporting. They were all very easy to talk to. I found it more of a conversation than an interview, which I always find beneficial for an admin role. I got a call back about an hour after I had left. The second round was with the team I would be supporting. Again, same old questions, and I found it to be more of a conversation. Everyone was very likable. They then brought in (2) admins together. They seemed to ask more of the "tough questions." I didn't really click with one of the ladies. At the end of it all, they said they went with another candidate. I didn't receive any feedback, which is annoying but overall, I was impressed with their offices. One weird thing, they had me fill out a paper application in the lobby. I haven't done that in years!
