I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at HarbourVest Partners, LLC (Boston, MA)
Interview
Lengthy - about 2-3 months in total - but well worth it as both sides want to ensure the right fit. Expect 30 minute interviews with 7-10 people spread across 3-4 different days. An invite for interviews onsite to meet with leadership in your respective role is likely, but can't speak to the process outside of my experience.

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at HarbourVest Partners, LLC in Feb 2023
Interview
I was invited for multiple rounds of interviews The interviewers were very nice and spoke positively about the firm. Each asked me to share a verbal summary of my experience and asked a few specific questions nothing out of the ordinary. They have had explosive growth and the impact to me was several weeks between interviews with little to no communication in between. Interviews had different descriptions of the role which led me to think they were not clear on what role I was being considered for or the role was evolving. I asked but no one clarified. A few interviewers said I had the skill set to fill any of multiple roles they had. Subsequently I was contacted by the recruiter and informed I would be invited for final interviews but that never happened. I got a call after about a month saying I was over qualified. Be patient if it’s really what you want but I definitely had strong reservations given the continued delays and very slow communication/miscommunication.
