I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Harness in Aug 2022
Interview
A really frustrating and disappointing experience
Everything seemed to be going well in my selection process, despite the extreme disorganization and lack of knowledge of the tech recruiter based in London.
After a few calls and a test, I received an offer. It was a little below what I had previously requested and we negotiated this until we reached a value, suggested by the recruiter himself.
I thought everything was fine, just waiting for the contracts to arrive, but the days went by and nothing...
I contacted the recruiter and was told that my proposal was being approved. I didn't understand what was happening, but I was waiting for an elucidation of the case.
Well, I've been sending regular emails for more than 3 weeks to the recruiter and also to the manager that open this position , and so far I don't know what happened.
I noticed that the opportunity was closed, so they probably hired someone else or decided to cancel it.
But how difficult is it to respond to emails giving simple feedback, even if it brings bad news?
It would be a little more dignified and fair to the candidate who worked hard to pass the selection process.
I didn't expect that from Harness.
