The overall process took over a month and I met with 7 people including HR. The interviews were all done through Microsoft Teams. They were all nice people but it was a serious waste of time. I say this because the excuse I was given for not being hired was because they were no longer hiring for the role. What!? I would understand if there was an internal candidate (and still meeting 7 people is insane), but to completely stop hiring for the role is unprofessional. Especially after wasting 6 weeks time, multiple meetings changes, etc.
