I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Hatch (Brisbane) in Oct 2010
Interview
The first part of the hiring process was submitting an online application. In the application, I had to describe why I wanted to work for Hatch, which business units interested me, and some of my extra-curricular interests and goals. It took a few months to hear back from them, and when I did, I received an invite for a behavioural interview. The behavioural interview lasted about an hour, whom I had with the lead engineer and an HR person.

Question 1
Tell us about a time where you demonstrated innovation and creativity.
Good interview process. Everyone was friendly and wanted to get to know you. Company appears to be well run with employees that care about what they do. Would recommend interviewing with them, they are a large employer of recent graduates.
Applied online using resume, cover letter and academic transcript. Got a call for interview with two senior mechanical engineers. The questions were all situational and behavioural type (pretty standard). No difficult technical questions.

Question 1
Talk about a time when you faced a challenge and how did you overcome it?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Hatch in Dec 2017
Interview
On-campus interview (30 minutes) with a panel of 3, then an on-site interview (45 minutes) with a panel of 5. Despite the large panel, the atmosphere was not intimidating.
I was also asked a couple typical "interview-style" questions, like what my greatest strengths and weaknesses are. I was also asked to elaborate a bit on some experiences on my resume. Apart from that, the interview took a more conversational tone, wherein I discussed my interests and the panel discussed some of the work their group does.

Question 1
Q: What is your greatest strength? What is your biggest weakness? (Asked in both interviews)
