I applied online. I interviewed at Hathway (New York, NY)
Interview
It was as expected. I met with a group of folks from several departments, asked appropriate questions. It was over a series of 2 days so I could meet the upper management as well.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hathway
Interview
Met with recruiter then moved onto interview with two people from senior leadership in the PM department.
Interview process was easy and quick. I received an offer but declined due to their benefits. The most shocking thing was their Maternity Leave policy and lack there of. Hathway offers ZERO paid maternity leave. They just recommend you apply for Short Term Disability which is 6 weeks at 60% pay.
I found this insane for a company that seems to pride itself as a modern company that claims to be supportive of its employees. This Maternity Leave policy speaks volumes of Hathway's complete lack of support of women and families.
I was asked to talk to the entire team over 4 remote interviews. Everyone was very warm and encouraging, it seemed like a good fit. I was surprised when they hired someone else. I felt a little led on.
