Question 1
How would you approach a task that you are not familiar with?

Interview
Applied for an Unreal Software Engineer role where the initial impression was that graphics and rendering experience wasn’t required. During a lengthy technical interview, interviewers even confirmed that this background wasn’t necessary. However, feedback afterward cited lack of graphics expertise as a reason for rejection, despite a resume focused on UI and tooling.
The process also included a coding task where a more optimized solution was implemented, yet feedback suggested a "brute force" approach was used. Overall, the experience felt like a significant misalignment of expectations, and a more careful review of qualifications before interviews could save time.
