Hawk-Eye Innovations Software Engineer interview questions

The hiring process began with a phone screen to talk about my background, relevant skills and plans for the future. The recruiter was very easy to talk to and knew the right questions to ask to let you show off your strengths. The second stage was a coding challenge. You could select from a variety of varying difficulty challenges and had 1 week to submit the challenge after receiving it. The final stage was a half day on-site interview. It first consisted of a 90-minute coding challenge, followed by a 1:2 technical interview, reviewing the coding challenge followed by coding questions on a whiteboard. The day ended with a 1:2 personality interview with the recruiter and technical director, followed by a tour of the office. At all stages feedback was quick and the questions were designed to allow them to get an accurate picture of you and find your strengths.

1st stage was a coding test - had a choice of several tasks to do in C++ or Java. All were doable and interesting. 2nd stage was an assessment day that included group tasks, small coding task, aptitude tests and in person interview
