The screening went well, 1st interview was fine. The info that the recruiter gave about the role was not aligned with the hiring manager which was confusing. Roles are posted as remote but should be hybrid instead—they prefer candidates who can go in ~2 days a week. When I asked about how they were working to improve things internally based on the reviews here the recruiter said they weren’t having issues which was interesting

I applied via cold application thru LinkedIn, then was contacted for a screener interview with a recruiter. After that, I submitted work samples, met with the hiring manager, performed a take-home assignment, spoke with 2 cross-functional colleagues, and then finally met with the head of communications. After that, I was asked to provide 2 references.
So in total, the entire process was 8 rounds with 5 interviews. The whole process took about 4-5 weeks; the hiring team moved and scheduled quickly, often following up the same day. Everyone was friendly and enthusiastic. Many of the questions were behavioral.
