Interview experience left me with concerns about the overall professionalism and communication style of the company. The recruiter dominated the conversation, spoke at length without really engaging, and didn’t answer the one question I specifically asked about the role. The interaction felt more performative, which made it difficult to get a clear understanding of the opportunity or company culture.
I’ve learned to trust my instincts in interviews, and this interaction felt superficial and lacking in substance, which ultimately made me question the overall culture, hiring approach and judgment of hiring team as recruiter’s voice/intonation was also extremely distracting.
