It would have been helpful to know which specific team within the Strategy and Operations tier this role was supporting. The person hiring was part of the credentialing team, and it became clear during the interview that they expected familiarity with credentialing and provider onboarding—neither of which were mentioned in the job description. The recruiting team seemed to be reading from a script and wasn’t able to provide much insight into the role. From the start, the person hiring didn’t seem particularly engaged, and the case study was confusing given the lack of context around credentialing. While the take-home assignment itself was straightforward, it was never referenced in the interview. Overall, it feels like they’re looking for a very specific background without being upfront about it.
