The process included an initial 30 minute phone screen, followed by an in-person interview. At the in-person interview, I met with four people, separately. After that, I was invited back for a second in-person interview. Two hours before the scheduled interview time, I received a call indicating that the person who was interviewing me called out sick and they needed to cancel. After two days, I followed up to see when the interview had been rescheduled. I received no response. Ten days later, I received an email indicating the company had decided to go in a different direction. So, instead of letting me know that they changed their minds before I used vacation time to be at the interview, they contrived a believable reason to postpone/cancel the interview. Consider this: if they act so cowardly and disrespectful during the interview process, how must they behave once you are hired?
