I was contacted over LinkedIn by a recruiter from the Denver office regarding the position. I completed an initial phone screen with this recruiter then was routed to the Raleigh office. I then interviewed with four different people on site at the Raleigh office. Overall, I really enjoyed speaking with everyone and learned a lot about the company and the industry. Everything was very conversational. Despite my overall positive experience interviewing, I found the ultimate decision to be quite surprising. After interviewing for the position I was told that the company no longer wanted to hire anyone for the role. At every stage of the process each interviewer reinforced that they were understaffed, needed to fill positions and were trying to build up their digital team ASAP. So to me the ultimate decision seemed contradictory and made little sense.
